Team Rocket’s Tyranitar is a Stage 2 Fighting-type from the 2025 Pokémon TCG Destined Rivals expansion, released exclusively as a Pokémon Center promo. The foil card showcases Ryuta Fuse’s dynamic artwork of Tyranitar roaring in a neon-lit alley, complete with the Team Rocket “R” and a unique Pokémon Center stamp logo. In gameplay this Tyranitar has the Sand Stream Ability (placing damage on all opposing Basics during Pokémon Checkup) and a heavy Demolition Tackle attack for 180 damage. Collectors will love the nostalgic Team Rocket theme, the shiny holo design, and its rarity as a hard-to-find Pokémon Center exclusive – it was even part of a trio of Destined Rivals promos alongside Team Rocket’s Articuno and Zapdos.
