Metal Energy is a holo special Energy card from the Japanese Pokémon TCG’s Neo series (the first Gold & Silver-era expansion, released in 2000). Its cosmic artwork (by Milky Isobe) features the Steel-type symbol with a shimmering, swirling holo effect. As a Special Energy introduced in Johto-era decks, it provides Metal energy and reduces the attached Pokémon’s damage by 10, a defensive mechanic popular in early Gen II play.
