This Lugia Holo is a classic rare from the 2000 Neo Genesis set, the first expansion to introduce Generation II Pokémon to the TCG. Illustrator Hironobu Yoshida’s art shows Lugia in mid-flight over a starry, cosmic holographic background (note the characteristic holo pattern of sparkling starbursts). As a #9/111 rare holo, this Lugia card is especially nostalgic – it marks the legendary Pokémon’s debut appearance in the Trading Card Game.
