How packs are priced

Every card in a pack is listed for sale on Misprint by one of our sellers, in Near Mint condition. A pack's listed value is the sum of those listing prices — what the same cards would have cost bought individually.

Each pack is assembled to a listed value within 2.5% either side of its price at $10 and above, and 3% below that, where whole cards cannot land any closer. Those prices are fixed at the time the pack is assembled rather than at the time of purchase. Where a pack's listed value falls below its price, the difference is credited to your account as store credit, so the value you receive is not less than the price you paid.

Market value, shown alongside each card, is a separate estimate produced by Misprint's proprietary pricing methodology, which draws on recently observed sale prices, published market values from third-party pricing sources, and transaction data from our own marketplace. Estimates account for condition, grade, grading authority and printing where applicable. Every listing price is held within a set percentage of that estimate, so a pack cannot be filled with cards priced away from the market.

Market value is an estimate used to assemble packs. It is not an appraisal, not a guarantee of resale value, and not an offer by Misprint to repurchase any item. Individual items may sell for more or less than their assessed market value, estimates may change over time, and they may differ from values published elsewhere. All pack sales are final.
