Understanding buyer reviews, disputes, and building your seller reputation on Misprint
Reviews are how buyers share their experience after a purchase, and they help future buyers shop with confidence. If you're new to selling, start with our guide to selling on Misprint for the full picture of how orders and fulfillment work.
After a buyer completes an order with you, they have the option to leave a review of their experience. Reviews reflect things like how quickly the item shipped, how accurately it was described, the quality of the packaging, and how smoothly communication went.
Reviews are tied to real, completed orders, so buyers can only review sellers they've actually purchased from. Over time, your reviews add up into a public reputation that other buyers can see on your seller profile.
Buyers can leave a review once an order has been delivered and completed. This ensures feedback is based on the full experience, from purchase through to receiving the card. A buyer who hasn't received an item yet can't review it.
Reviews are only removed when they violate our community guidelines. A review being negative or critical is not, on its own, grounds for removal. Honest, constructive feedback stays up even when it isn't flattering.
A review may be removed if it:
If you believe a review breaks our guidelines, or is factually inaccurate, you can ask our support team to look into it. Reach out through our contact form with the order details and an explanation of the issue. We'll review the report against our guidelines and take action if the review qualifies for removal.
We won't remove a review simply because you disagree with it or because it's negative. We look at whether it violates the guidelines, not at the star count.
A refund or cancellation doesn't automatically add or remove a review. Buyers describe their overall experience, and a well-handled refund can still result in positive feedback. The best way to protect your reputation when something goes wrong is to resolve it quickly and communicate clearly. If a review stems from a resolved issue and you feel it no longer reflects the transaction fairly, you can flag it for our team to review against the guidelines.
Your rating is a reputation signal. A strong track record reassures buyers that you ship on time, describe cards accurately, and are reliable to deal with, which can make buyers more comfortable purchasing from you.
Note: Reviews shape your reputation, but they aren't the same thing as your seller level. Your seller level is driven by your delivered-order history and limits, not by your review score. Both matter for building buyer trust.
The best reviews come from consistently great experiences. A few habits go a long way:
Getting orders out promptly is one of the biggest drivers of buyer satisfaction. Aim to ship as soon as you can after a sale.
Protect cards so they arrive in the same condition you sent them. Our shipping and packaging guidelines walk through how to pack raw, graded, and sealed items safely.
Make sure your listings match what buyers receive. Accurate condition, edition, and grading details prevent the mismatched expectations that lead to disappointed reviews.
Respond to questions and keep buyers informed, especially if something changes with their order. Clear, friendly communication often turns a potential problem into a positive review.
